To fund the recording of his first solo album, Alexander sold a piece of artwork that he had inherited from his grandfather. The piece of artwork that had been hanging on his bedsit wall for a decade turned out to be a small treasure and the passport to his musical dreams as he went and bought everything he needed to bring them to life. With his new equipment, Wolfe set to work to produce Morning Brings a Flood, a beautiful album with echoes of Nick Drake, inspired by an artistic vision.
