John Bisset

Signed to Vacilando ’68 Publishing Co., John has been recording since the early eighties, firstly as a member of Manchester new wave act The Spherical Objects before fronting his own band Grow Up (both acts recently documented via LTM and their Boutique reissue label). Since moving to London though John has produced music under a number of various guises, often collaborating with fellow Stoke Newington habitees such as Alex Ward and Fyfe Dangerfield, whilst recording duet albums with a host of respected improv artists, and releasing more conventional pop tunes via the outfits Pocket and Country Dad.
