Mosquito is the sound of composer and producer, Matt Thomas. 2010 has seen Matt create a new arrangement of the classic BBC Children's theme "We Are The Champions" for this years Sport Relief, shown on BBC1. Matt also acted as Sound Designer for the latest FA Respect Campaign which debuted at Wembley during the recent England versus Egypt friendly.

2009 highlights included writing 3 pop songs for the UK Disney channel as featured in their popular bedtime section, "Snuggletime". He also acted as arranger and producer for Cartoonito's promo campaign featuring Myleene Klass and Mother's singing "My Favourite Things" from "The Sound Of Music", and also an original song for the Hi5 UK launch Promo campaign.

In 2008 Matt composed and produced an advert for "Splenda Brown Sugar" which aired on the GCap Radio Network. He also acted as Musical Director for the UK version of “Hi5”, the pre-school show which has enjoyed Worldwide success and has been broadcasting in the UK from November 2008 onwards. Matt also rearranged and composed new elements for the long-running and much loved BBC children’s art show, “SMart” which continues to air on BBC1. Early 2008, saw Matt compose the Titles and stings for the new BBC1 series, “Comedy Sketchbook”, produced by Objective Productions and presented by Angus Deayton.

2007, amongst others, saw Matt compose the incidental music for BBC1’s “Totally Dr Who”, spin-off show to the flagship series, “Doctor Who”. 

Other highlights include Matt’s music being heard on flights across the World, composing the Mnemonic and incidental music for Emirates Airlines In-flight entertainment. 

His biggest success to date is “San Frandisco”; a funky anthem, and favourite with media and fans alike, it became the soundtrack to the Christmas 2004 “Pringles” advert, airing to millions of people across the UK and Europe and was heavily rotated on Heart FM. 

Producer/ Remixer skills 2008: Matt’s remix of “My Generation” the boyband Billiam reached number 23 in the UK Top 40. Billiam also toured the UK with Girls Aloud.

Producer/ Remixer skills 2006/7: Mosquito were chosen as one of the 100 finalists in X-Press 2's “Kill 100” Remix competition. Combined download sales ensured a Number 6 position in the UK Dance Chart.
