Louisa Rose Allen began gigging as Foxes in London in 2011. She released her debut single, "Youth", in early 2012 on Neon Gold Records, and was subsequently signed to Sign of the Times, a label of Sony Music . The EP ‘Warrior’ followed later that year, and "Youth" and its B-side, "Home", were featured in Gossip Girl. Later in 2012, Foxes toured with Marina and the Diamonds and released a second single, "Echo". Foxes rose to prominence in mid 2013 when she was featured on dance producer Zedd's single "Clarity", Fall Out Boy's song "Just One Yesterday", the Rudimental single "Right Here" (a top 20 hit in the UK), and on the Sub Focus track "Until the End" (from his album ‘Torus’).
Foxes described her debut album, Glorious, as having a "dark streak… as well as a pop element that runs through it." Ahead of its release, a newly recorded version of "Let Go for Tonight" was released as a single in February 2014, charting in the United Kingdom at number seven and becoming her most successful single to date in her home country. Glorious was released in May 2014 following the single "Holding onto Heaven" (number 14), and debuted at number five on the UK Albums Chart.
Bucks Music publishes Johnny Harris who co-wrote ‘Echo’, ‘Glorious’, ‘Holding on to Heaven’, ‘Home’, ‘The Unknown’ & ‘Youth’.
