Kizzy won the Brwydr Y Bandiau at the National Eisteddfod 2013 She also won a Welsh Singer-Songwriter competition receiving money to record her first EP release with Amy Wadge (signed to BDI Music and Ed Sheeran/Lewis Watson co-writer).

Kizzy recently played at the National Assembly for Wales during WOMEX, London Jazz Festival supporting Sarah Gillespie, Swn Festival, Hay Festival, the Plaid Cymru Conference and has supported Gruff Rhys, Newton Faulkner on the Welsh dates of his tour.

She has recently signed a publishing deal with BDI/Bucks music and is recording new material for release late summer. Kizzy has also won BBC Horizons artist of the year, which sees her playing various BBC events and radio sessions including a Maida Vale session this autumn. She is looking forward to performing at various UK festivals this summer including Glastonbury, Festival No. 6, and Wakestock and to touring the US/Canada later this year.
